PIG IN THE PARK, presented by Goldsboro Milling Company and Sam's Club in partnership with Goldsboro Wayne County Travel and Tourism and the Goldsboro Downtown Development Corporation, is a series of events celebrating Wayne County’s barbecue tradition. On Saturday, April 14, up to 25 teams will compete in a whole-hog cook off for the title of Wayne County’s Best Barbecue! But, PIG IN THE PARK is more than just a cook-off! Arts and crafts vendors, bouncy castles for the kids, live music, and a whole lot more will be featured during the festival at Old Waynesborough in Goldsboro, North Carolina.
