There will be two divisions in the pig cook-off competition this year and only 20 teams may compete.  The NCPC Division (NC Pork Council) will be certified by the NC Pork Council and the top three teams will be eligible to compete at the North Carolina Barbecue Championship. Additionally, first place will receive $400, second place will receive $200, and the third place team will receive $150.  The Backyard Division is not sanctioned by the NCPC and awards will also be given to the top three finishers in this division and an award for showmanship.
