Register your Cook-off Team Today!

There will be two divisions in the pig cook-off competition this year and only 25 teams may compete

The NCPC (NC Pork Council) Division will be certified by NC Pork Council approved judges and the top three teams will be eligible to enter the NCPC State Championship BBQ Cook-off.  Additionally, first place wins $200 + entry fee paid for competing in the State Championship, second place wins $175, and third place wins $150.

The Backyard BBQ Division is not sanctioned by the NCPC and trophies will be given to the top three finishers in this division.

Teams from both divisions are invited and encouraged to be judged in the Showmanship Category.  1st place in Showmanship wins $100 and a trophy; 2nd and 3rd places will receive certificates.

The deadline to register is March 23, 2012.

If you have any questions regarding our cook-off contest, please e-mail Jo at jheidenreichbgcwayne@nc.rr.com or call 919-735-2358.
