Meet the Bands!
Malpass Brothers
The first time you hear the Malpass Brothers it doesn't take long before you realize they are as close to real traditional country music artists as you can get these days. While touring as an opening act for country music legend Merle Haggard, the brothers have been able to broaden their musical talents and
sharpen their comedic wit while performing for audiences all across America and parts of Canada.
When not on the road with The Hag, the brothers can be found performing in shows and events primarily in eastern North Carolina. The boys perform cover hits from the likes of Merle Haggard, Ernest Tubb, The Louvin Brothers, Faron Young, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Jimmie Rodgers, Marty Robbins and many more old-time traditional country music artists. They also perform their own original music as well. "Memory That Bad" is quickly becoming their most requested original song.
The Mighty Saints of Soul
The Mighty Saints of Soul is a band that combines a large amount of Eastern NC talent from some of the area's most famous bands. They were essentially the entire rhythm se
ction of the Band of Oz from 1968 to 1975 w/ Keith Houston on guitar. The band played as Jackie Gore and the All Starz for three years from 2004 through 2006. When the Legends of Beach formed in 2006, Jackie departed, and was replaced by Danny Garner. Danny was formerly the lead guitarist and singer of Warehouse and is a veteran of various other Eastern NC groups.
